Aims and Objectives
By adopting non-formal & continuing education, North East National Board of School Education takes a leading step towards universalization of Higher Education. This novel initiative caters to the needs of those students who are interested in Higher Education but are unable to join colleges and universities due to lack of resources and time. It also imparts education to poor, downtrodden & backward people at nominal fees. The Board also fulfills the aims of vocational & educational rights of the Indian Constitution 1950 under Articles 14, 15, 19, 21, 26, 29, 30, 351, etc.
- To Democratize & Universalize Higher Education by providing it to students at their doorstep in remote places of India.
- To provide higher education to all irrespective of age, sex, caste, or territory.
- To provide job-oriented and professional education with the highest job potential in various government and non-government institutions and organizations.
- To promote and popularize education under an informal education system patterned after boards, open schools, and universities of other countries.
- The option to select more vocational subjects and imbibe more education at minimal cost.
- To introduce vocational-based study aligned with the Gromodaya theme.
- To educate for the development of local crafts aligned with international standards.
- To revolutionize and modify the traditional education system.
- To improve access to quality education and expert knowledge.
- To achieve higher literacy and promote active learning.
- To generate new knowledge and innovative education systems.
- To promote problem-solving education systems.
- Promotion of education at primary, secondary, and other levels.
- To organize lectures, discussions, debates, and functions to facilitate community engagement.
- To take necessary steps for publication of brochures, articles, and holding public meetings to promote Board activities.
- To do all such other acts necessary for the attainment of the above objectives.
